ARTaI and Partners Launch AI Innovation Challenge 2024

Kathmandu — ARTaI (Akshamala Research Technology and Innovation) and its partners have officially launched the AI Innovation Challenge 2024. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world application by inviting innovators to solve local challenges using artificial intelligence.

"We believe that true innovation happens when rigorous academic research meets on-the-ground reality," said the Director of ARTaI. "This initiative is designed to empower local startups and youth to leverage cutting-edge tools to solve the most pressing challenges in our region."

A Commitment to Sustainable Progress

The newly launched framework includes a comprehensive mentorship program, access to a state-of-the-art incubation hub in Kathmandu, and seed funding opportunities for promising projects. Over the next five years, ARTaI plans to incubate over 50 deep-tech startups focusing on education, healthcare, and sustainable infrastructure.
